Welcome to the Artists Council's VOLUNTEER PORTAL!
This VOLUNTEER PORTAL is the place where everyone who volunteers to spend time at the Artists Center at the Galen can come for information and scheduling. Use the links below to see and sign up for your volunteer assignments as an artist participating in a show or exhibition, as a Galen Ambassador, or to volunteer to work during a Special Event.
ARTIST HOSTS
Are you an artist member of the Artists Council, interested in volunteering for a 3-hour Artist Host appointment at the Artists Center?
Choose this option if you are an artist accepted into one of our exhibitions, and need to sign up for your Artist Host commitment. Choose this also if you are a member of the Artists Council, and simply enjoy greeting our Artists Center visitors as an Artist Host.
This link allows you to sign up for 3-hour artist volunteer shifts (either 10am-1pm, or 1pm-4pm) for any of our upcoming exhibitions at the Artists Center.
AMBASSADORS
Are you a member of our Ambassador program, and do you volunteer on a regular basis to greet our guests?
Choose this option if you have applied for the Ambassador program, and have received Ambassador training.
This link allows you to sign up for 3-hour Ambassador volunteer shifts (either 10am-1pm, or 1pm-4pm) for any of our upcoming exhibitions at the Artists Center.
Want to Become a Volunteer at the Artists Center?
Our Ambassador Program volunteers greet visitors, and answer questions about the Artists Council and about the displayed artwork They provide a friendly, helpful face to our guests. Work shifts for Ambassadors run from 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm any day we are open. Additional volunteer opportunities exist during Opening Receptions, concerts, and other special events.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Are you interested in volunteering for special events, such as Art Take-In for an exhibition, an Opening Reception, a Baroque Concert, or any other Special Event?
This link allows you to sign up for volunteer shifts for Special Events, that often occur outside of our standard 3-hour Artists Center shift schedule.
FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS
With the above links, you can:
Schedule yourself to volunteer as an Ambassador, Gallery Host or Art Check-In
Reschedule/Change your prior sign-ups using the links in your calendar or email that you received
Receive Confirmations by email, AND, text if you entered your cell number
Receive Reminders by email, AND, text if you entered your cell number
