James MacDevitt

Associate Professor of Art History

and Visual & Cultural Studies at

Cerritos College, 

as well as the Director/Curator of

the Cerritos College Art Gallery 

 

In addition to co-founding the multi-institutional SUR:biennial, initiating the collaborative Art+Tech Artist-in-Residence Program, and overseeing the rotating Window Dressing public art displays, MacDevitt has curated numerous exhibitions for the Cerritos College Art Gallery.

 

He holds a Master's in the History of Art from UC Riverside, where he previously served as Digital Media Associate at the UCR/California Museum of Photography and Assistant Director of the UCR/Sweeney Art Gallery.

Penny McElroy

Instructor, Graphic Design,

Printmaking & Book Arts

at Behany College and

University of Redlands

McElroy earned her MFA from the University of Wisconsin / Madison. Since then she has taught Graphic Design, Printmaking, and Book Arts at Bethany College and the University of Redlands. 

Her artwork has been exhibited throughout the United States and abroad, including recently in Los Angeles, San Francisco, India, Colombia, Argentina, and New York. 

 

Principal at 5&dime design, McElroy specializes in print work. Recent projects include advertising for the University of Redlands Art Gallery, cover art and design of the Gorsky Press re-issue of Strange Toys by Patricia Geary, and cover art for Camera Obscura, a Noemi Press title.
