ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
All is possible through imagination and artistic expression. "A Palette of Possibilities" celebrates the limitless creative paths artists explore through color, technique, style, and vision. This exhibition honors artistic curiosity and the transformative power of creativity across all media.
ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY

Open to current Artists Council members only

One (1) artwork per member may be submitted

Exhibition is non-juried
-
Entries accepted on a first-come, first-served basis:

First 110 two-dimensional (2D) artworks
-
First 20 three-dimensional (3D) artworks
-

Artwork previously exhibited at the Artists Center is not eligible
Entry Fee
-
$45 per artwork submitted
-
Entry fees are non-refundable under all circumstances
-
Payment must be made online via major credit card through the application form

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
General Requirements
-
Artwork must be original and available for sale
-
Sale price must be between $300 and $8,000
-
Sales proceeds will be divided 50/50 between the artist and the Artists Council
-
Applicable sales tax will be added to the purchase price and paid by the buyer
-
Artists must provide a written artwork description for exhibition materials
-
Artwork may be either 2D or 3D in any medium
-
If Artificial Intelligence (AI) was used in the creation process, artists must disclose its use during submission. AI usage will be noted on the artwork label
2D Artwork Requirements
-
Maximum weight: 50 pounds
-
Maximum framed dimensions: 72” high × 48” wide
-
Works on paper must be protected by glass or Plexiglas
-
Artwork must be clean, undamaged, and professionally presented
-
Work must arrive ready for installation using:
-
wire
-
D-rings
-
sawtooth hangers
-
or another secure hanging system
-

Contact the Artists Council in advance if you are unsure whether your hanging method is acceptable
3D Artwork Requirements

Maximum weight: 150 pounds
-
Maximum dimensions: 72” high × 36” wide × 36” deep
-
Artwork must be delivered ready for display
-
Artists are responsible for transportation and installation
-
Artists must ensure work fits through gallery access points
-
Oversized work may be rejected at intake
-
Up to two images may be uploaded for each 3D artwork submission
Not Accepted
The following will not be accepted:

Video works
-
Ceiling-hung artwork
-
Electrified artwork
EXHIBITION POLICIES
-
Accepted artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition
-
Artwork may not be withdrawn or substituted once accepted
-
Online pricing by artist must match the exhibition sale price
-
Each exhibiting artist is required to complete one 3-hour Artist Host volunteer shift during the exhibition
-
Exhibition placement and curatorial decisions are final

Artwork Drop-Off
Tuesday, September 8, 2026 — 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Exhibition Opens

Opening Reception
Thursday, September 10, 2026 — 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Exhibition Closes
Sunday, October 4, 2026 — 4:00 PM
Pickup of Unsold Artwork
Sunday, October 4, 2026 — 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
No early pickup permitted.
ART DELIVERY & PICKUP
Artwork must be hand-delivered by the artist or an authorized representative to the Artists Center, 72-567 Hwy 111, Palm Desert, California
Delivery Policies

Only accepted artwork may be delivered
-
No substitutions will be permitted
-
Shipped artwork will not be accepted
-
The Artists Center cannot provide special handling assistance
-
The Artists Council reserves the right to refuse artwork that:
-
does not match the submitted image
-
fails to meet presentation standards
-
violates exhibition policies
-
includes prohibited content
-
does not comply with this prospectus
-
Sold Artwork
-
Buyers are responsible for artwork pickup, shipping arrangements, and all related expenses
Unclaimed Artwork
-
Unclaimed artwork will be held for a maximum of 30 days after the exhibition closes
-
Storage space is limited and unsecured
-
The Artists Council is not responsible for damage to unclaimed work
-
After 30 days, unclaimed artwork becomes property of the Artists Council
-
Unclaimed work may be sold or donated to charity
-
If sold, 100% of proceeds will support Artists Council programs and activities
LIABILITY & IMAGE RELEASE
By submitting artwork, the artist acknowledges and agrees that they:

have read and accepted all conditions outlined in this prospectus
-
grant permission for submitted artwork images to be used for promotional and marketing purposes
-
are solely responsible for insuring their artwork
-
release the Artists Council, Artists Center, staff, volunteers, and affiliated representatives from liability for loss or damage to artwork, however caused
