Let your imagination roam free in this final exhibition of the 2025-2026 season. Unleash your creativity in this eclectic showcase, which will highlight the diverse talents of all our members. We are looking forward to your entries!

Two (2) artworks per applicant will be accepted into the exhibition.

Entry fee: $45 for each entry. Fees will NOT be refunded after submission - no exceptions.

Pay with a major credit card via the online application form accessible from the link above.

The exhibition is non-juried, but only the first 110 artworks submitted will be accepted.

Submission Deadline: Thursday, May 7, at 4 pm.
NOTE: Submissions will close early if we reach the maximum number of 110 entries!

Drop Off: Monday, May 25, 2026, 9 am to 11 am, at the Artists Center

Show Opens: Thursday, May 27, 2026, 10 am

Opening Reception: Thursday, May 28, 2026, 5 pm to 7 pm

Show Closes: Sunday, June 28, 2026, 4 pm

Pick-Up of Unsold Works: Sunday, June 28, 2026, 2 pm to 4 pm
NOTE: No pick-up before Sunday!
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

You must be a member of the Artists Council to enter. You will be able to join as a member, or renew an expired membership, in the application form (see the link above).
Artwork must be:

Wall-hung work must be no larger than 72” high x 48” wide.
-
Three-dimensional artwork cannot exceed 150 pounds or 72” high by 36” wide by 36” deep and must be delivered ready for display.

Works that do not meet these size requirements may be rejected on intake.

Artwork is limited to 2- and 3-dimensional work. No video work can be accepted at this time.

The Artists Council does not accept AI-created artwork.

Unframed canvas must be gallery wrapped.

Works on canvas or other materials must be finished on the edges.

Make sure your work is clean and undamaged before dropping it off.

You can make changes to your entry up to the date that entries close. To update your entry, click the green OPEN FORM button found in your email confirmation. We recommend you keep your confirmation available until after entries close, in case you want to make a last-minute change.

All work must be ready for hanging or installation and professionally presented.

All works on paper must be protected by glass or Plexiglass.

Artwork must be ready for hanging with wire, sawtooth hangers, D rings or some other secure, easy-to-use hanging system. No ceiling mounts will be accepted. Please ask in advance if in doubt of acceptability of your hanging solution. No fees will be refunded after submission.
Additional Requirements:

Artwork will hang during the entirety of the show, unless it is sold and the buyer takes it at the time of purchase.
Drop Off:

Artwork must be delivered to the Artists Center in Palm Desert by the artist or his/her agent.

Artwork shipped to the Artists Center will not be accepted.

The Artists Council cannot provide special handling for artwork.
Pricing, Sales, and Pick Up:

Artwork must be available for sale.
-
The sale price must be between $250 and $8,000.

The artwork’s price must be the same as on your website or otherwise promoted.

Proceeds from any sale (excluding sales tax) will be split 50-50 between the artist and the Artists Council (to support programs and operations).

Buyers are responsible for picking up the artwork they purchase and for any shipping and all associated expenses for artwork after purchase. Sales tax will be added to the sale price and paid by the buyer. If the buyer is not in town to pick up their work on Sunday, June 28, 2026, the artist will be expected to assist with pick up and shipment/delivery.

The artist or his/her agent is responsible for picking up or shipping unsold works.

Any unclaimed artworks will be held for a maximum of 30 days. Storage space is limited and unsecured. The Artists Council is not responsible for any damage that may happen to unclaimed artworks.

After 30 days any unclaimed artwork will become the property of the Artists Council and either sold or donated to charity. If sold 100% of sale price will go to support the activities of the Artists Council.
LEGAL AGREEMENT
By submitting to the Artists Council’s “Art Unleashed” Exhibition & Sale, the artist acknowledges and agrees that he/she:

Has read and agrees to all conditions of entry.

Releases rights for use of images of his/her artwork in any Artists Council promotional and marketing materials.

Is responsible for insurance for his/her artwork. Neither the Artists Council and its officers, directors, staff, or volunteers; nor anyone connected with the “Art Unleashed” Exhibition & Sale will be responsible for loss or damage to artwork, however caused. All exhibiting artists will be required to sign a liability waiver at the time of submission (online).
The Artists Council reserves the right to refuse any artwork that is not of acceptable quality; does not match the submitted entry image; does not meet framing or finishing criteria; does not adhere to Artists Council Artwork Policies concerning sexual content and hate speech; or any other requirements stated above.
