Tesia Blackburn, a Golden Artists Colors Working Artist, loves to draw and paint. She feels lucky that she gets to make a living doing just that! Tesia teaches people how to unlock their creative passions and has been doing so for over 30 years -- and loving every minute of it. Students have become lifelong friends and she ends up learning something from every one of them.
Tesia’s styles and series are wide-ranging. She claims she is a restless investigator whose curiosity is never fully satisfied. She relies on the “tools” of her trade -- line, color, shape, and texture -- always digging further into their mysteries, always looking for that ultimate sweet spot, where they all come together in magical harmony.
Digital, analog, paint, pen and ink, you name it, Tesia has tried it. Some with great success, some not so much. She keeps coming back to this endeavor, and is always excited to see what’s over the next hill.
