Marcia Reed

Retired Chief Curator and Associate Director, Getty Research Institute.

From 1983 until her retirement in 2022, Marcia developed and promoted the Getty
Research Institute’s collections and acquired many of its notable rare books, prints, and
archives. Beginning in 2008, she oversaw the GRI’s program of exhibitions, gallery
expansion, and exhibition-related programs and publications. Her award-winning
exhibition catalogue of GRI’s artists’ book collections, Artists and Their Books/Books
and Their Artists, co-authored with Glenn Phillips, was published in Summer 2018. Her
most recent book on Dada, Surrealist, and Fluxus art, Fluxus Means Change: Jean
Brown’s Avant Garde Archive, was published in 2021.

Wendy Posner

Owner of Posner Fine Art (PFA) and contemporary fine art advisor based in Los Angeles, California.

PFA provides art advisory services, from acquisitions and commissions to collection curating,
display, and installation, for private collectors and corporate clients around the world. Over her
career, Wendy has built relationships with established art stars and undiscovered new talent.
She has traveled to over 20 countries, attending art fairs, making studio visits, searching for
unique art and artifacts, and, in the process, finding the inspiration that only comes from
experiencing creativity in action. She is a member of the LACMA Director’s Circle, a Desert X
Founding Member, a GetLit & The Infinity Festival Advisory Board Member, a Posner
Foundation Board Member, and member of the Culver City Arts Foundation Advisory Board.
